Big Dog and the Pack

There are many characters shrouded in mystery in City of Dreams and Storytellers. Big Dog is one of them. We meet him as the leader of the pack, a gang that operates in the streets of West District. But this gang is different to all the others. it only has one human member. The rest are all dogs!

Big Dog has been in the city for a while, and in that time, has garnered the trust and faith of the locals of West District. He’s untroublesome in his activities, and doesn’t tend to be sought after for trouble, either. He’s respected (or feared) by all, including the police. it takes a particularly foolish individual to seek him out for any sort of confrontation.

Not much is learned about him at first. His past, his true abilities, and his future remain a mystery, because there is much about him that we must not yet know. He’s one of the only Shaman we meet in the first book, and as it stands, one of the most powerful characters to be introduced in the story.

He has a close personal relationship with Nathanael, which only adds to the level of mystery of his persona.
