Sentiens. those with the power of a Greater Mind.
Sentiens make up the majority of the population of Areth. Their Greater Self is that of the mind.
Where the lesser mind simply gives one an awareness of self, and the ability to recognise the application of the metaphysical world on physical reality, the greater Mind gives Sentiens the ability to interact with the metaphysical world directly.
Where the lesser mind is capable of understanding the difference between placing a cup on a table and holding it in the air, it does not possess the ability to action those two different reality’s without the use of some vehicle to perform the change.
To illustrate, with the lesser mind, one would need to physically move the cup with their body, from the state of resting on a table, to the state of lifted into the air. The mind, which recognises the change in metaphysical nature, and is even capable of predetermining that change, in order to instruct the body to action the change, is incapable of creating that change itself. It needed a physical medium upon which to impress the instructions required to meet its desired change in metaphysical nature.
Whereas, the Greater Mind does not need the physical vehicle of the body to action its desired change in metaphysical nature. The Greater Mind is able to apply the meta directly. by being able to perceive the meta of ‘resting on a table,’ and the meta of ‘holding in the air,’ the greater Mind can willingly shift between those two states of being, such that without any physical interference, the greater Mind can switch the reality of the cup from resting on a table, to being held in the air at will.
The power of the greater Mind is to directly action changes in metaphysical nature. It creates the laws that the physical world is bound by. A Sentien alters reality by changing the laws that tell it how to behave, because the physical world needs instructions, otherwise it exists in a state of random chaos.
